Kundalini yoga classes
Kundalini yoga has changed my life. After a running injury when I was 40. I turned to hatha yoga . My teacher studied kundalini yoga and started adding this to our weekly schedule I fell in love… With the mantras, the music ..the excersises (kriyas) and meditations.
I was hooked. In 2012 I started my training.
Kundalini yoga is practiced with eyes closed. So you are focused on yourself. Your inner teacher (guru) . There are no bendy impossible postures (asanas) to hold.
Everything is do-able. It’s what you bring to it.
Kundalini yoga has got me through peri- menopause (works on glandular system), teenagers (calm the mind releases anger) , trauma (strength to go on), menopause (acceptance through body awareness), separation (support of yoga community) and relocation (stamina).
It has bought me joy laughter and peace.
