Local GP practices have now signed up to be ‘parkrun practice’ linking with their local parkrun event to promote the health and wellbeing of patients and staff.
Parkrun’s are volunteer-led 5k events that take place each Saturday morning across the UK and are open to walkers, runners and volunteers of all ages and abilities. The local parkrun’s take place in a number of locations from 9.00 am, including in south east Essex: Hadleigh Park, Hockley Woods and Gunners Park in Shoebury
