There are 38 flower remedies which were discovered by Dr Edward Bach, an English homeopath, in the 1920s and 1930s. The remedies are solutions of brandy and water, with the water containing extremely diluted flower material. The remedies are directed at a particular characteristic or emotional state.
Bach Foundation Registered Practitioners are registered with the Bach Centre and may use the letters BFRP after their names. Some practitioners also specialise in the use of the remedies in caring for animals and use the letters BFRAP.
