There’s nothing like snuggling up in a warm bed to make us feel relaxed, warm and safe. But the very place where we go when we feel unwell could actually be making us ill. It could be down to Geopathic Stress.
What is Geopathic Stress
The word “Geopathic” comes from the word geo meaning “Earth” and “pathos” meaning “disease”. It covers naturally occurring phenomena that cause problems for us and our homes.
Geopathic Stress or harmful earth energies is natural radiation that rises up through the earth and is distorted by weak electromagnetic fields created by underground subterranean running water, certain mineral concentrations, and geological faults.
Human beings can also disturb the Earth’s energies. Quarries, tunnels, mines, polluted water and railway cuttings have all been found to contribute negative effects.
The health effects of Geopathic Stress on humans:
Geopathic Stress has been found to be the most common factor in most serious long term illnesses and psychological conditions. Research has shown that 85% of people that are suffering ill health are sleeping in a Geopathic Stressed area.
Research by Rolf Gordon of the Dulwich Health Society has identified that Geopathic Stress can cause sleep disturbances, headaches, anxiety and behaviour problems in children. Stronger Geopathic Stress has been linked to wasting diseases (e.g. Motor Neurone, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis), mental disorders (e.g. addictions, suicides, depression and obsessions), bowel disorders (e.g. IBS and Chrons disease), ME, anxiety, migraines, cot death, infertility and miscarriages.
It does not mean the Geopathic Stress causes these debilitating diseases, but if people have a weak constitution, and are exposed to strong Geopathic Stress for long periods of time then Geopathic Stress can be the ultimate trigger that makes it happen.
Whilst we are sleeping the body should be at rest and it can then do its repair work on body cells, fight infections and absorb nutrients from the food we have eaten that day. However, when we are sleeping in a Geopathic Stress place the body has to use all its energy to just keep its vital organs going and therefore the immune system is lowered.
The most common indications of Geopathic Stress are resistance to treatment (conventional or alternative), feeling run down and exhausted, depression, nervousness, pallor, allergies, insomnia, restless sleep, migraine, feeling cold, cramps, tingling in arms and legs, sleep walking, grinding teeth, nightmares, fatigue, headaches on waking or just a feeling of bad luck.
Women are more likely to be at risk from Geopathic Stress because their hormonal systems are more susceptible. Foresight, the pre-conception care organization, even suggest that couples trying for a baby should get their homes checked for Geopathic Stress and ensure that electrical equipment is not located under their bed as this can cause electromagnetic stress and deplete the immune system.
Research has shown that 90% of babies, who died of cot death, had been sleeping in Geopathic Stress places. Children sleeping in Geopathic Stress do not thrive and are often hyperactive, allergic, including asthma and eczema.
Children may wet the bed, have learning difficulties at school or behavioural problems.
It is common to hear people say “We have felt uncomfortable ever since we moved into this house/flat, our health has deteriorated and our previously happy family has become miserable”. Even if you have never heard of Geopathic Stress, you may have felt the effects of it.
Houses badly affected by Geopathic Stress come on the market more often than houses, which have none or very little stress. When viewing a potential house have you ever had an uneasy feeling as you crossed the threshold or walked into a particular room?
How to tell if you are suffering from Geopathic Stress:
Some plants love Geopathic Stress. These include ivy, mushrooms, mistletoe, bindweed, foxgloves, nettles, docks and medicinal herbs. Fruit trees and many plants will suffer. Twisted or stunted growth and gaps in hedges may be clues.
Ants, bees, wasp, parasites, bacteria, viruses and compost heaps thrive. Cats, owls, slugs and snails are attracted to Geopathic Stress. A cats favourite sleeping place (in the absence of an obvious place of warmth) is often on a Geopathic Stress line.
Lawns will often have bare patches, moss, silver weed and fungi, while vegetable gardens may have stunted growth.
Other clues include, clutter, building deterioration (cracks in glass, brick and plasterwork). Also electrical appliances may often breakdown. Food such as fruit and vegetables, cheese, jam and even photographic film will all spoil quickly when stored on a Geopathic Stress line.
Disputes with neighbours may be another problem which can be traced to a Geopathic Stress line flowing from the aggressive neighbour to the victim. Geopathic Stress problems can make a house difficult to sell and haunting including poltergeist activity can often be associated with negative earth energies.
Use the above information as a base for some detective work, look around your home and garden to see if you can find any tell tale signs. Think about the time you moved into your home did your life/health/luck start to change? A lot of the information has been scientifically researched and is well documented.
How is Geopathic Stress is detected?
Geopathic Stress is detected by dowsing. Dowsing is a simple but powerful skill which has been used for thousands of years. Geopathic Stress can be located in the areas where you spend the most time e.g. sleeping position. Any Geopathic Stress lines located in your home can be harmonised so they will no longer be a problem to your health.
The most important thing you can do for your health is to ensure that you are not sleeping in Geopathic Stress.
