In therapeutic practice, the combining of treatments is common and can often enhance and improve the effects of both therapies. Combining Energy Healing methods in particular is always very powerful for the client – and can accelerate their progress towards their desired goals.

Seichim Reiki is intangible, invisible, formless, not of the senses, a subtle field of energy, the essence of life, universal life energy and is experienced utterly differently by everyone. Seichim (pronounced Say keem or Say sheem), believed to be an ancient healing system from Egypt going back as far as Atlantis is growing in popularity. The hieroglyph Sekhem translates as “power of powers”. The applications of Seichim in treatments and absentee healing are identical to traditional Usui Reiki, although each system has its own unique energetic character produced by its own attunement process and a different, though related, set of sounds and symbols.

Crystal therapy works holistically to harmonize the mind, body, emotions and spirit, helping to increase our feeling of well-being, neutralize negativity, lift depression and to help us to become integrated, whole beings. Each variety of crystal has a unique internal structure, which causes it to resonate at a certain frequency. It is this resonance that is said to give crystals their healing abilities. Applying this resonance correctly can help to restore stability and balance to our energy systems, stimulating the body’s natural healing mechanisms. As a therapist, I have seen over and over again the positive influence a particular crystal can have – if chosen carefully. I have often found that during treatment I instinctively choose a particular stone – only to find out after the treatment that it covers a number of client’s deepest-seated issues which were not disclosed to me in our initial consultation.

Crystals can be used on the body in several ways: placed on or around the body in a grid formation called a crystal healing net; in conjunction with the Seven Chakras for chakra balancing; worn next to the skin; used during crystal meditation; placed around the house, not only look beautiful, but can contribute to the health and harmony of the home; and they can be incorporated into crystal massage and reflexology. It also lends itself very well to Reiki treatments, where healing nets can be set up around the client, whilst the therapist channels Usui or Seichim Energy towards the relaxed, meditative client.

This is a quote from A Guidebook for Healing With Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki and SKHM by Diane Shewmaker, and though it is dealing with Seichim Energy Healing in particular, I think it sums up the power of all Energy Healing to make changes in our lives.
