Packed With Smiles launches a Children’s Christmas Card Design Competition to support their fundraising
The fundraising landscape has changed dramatically since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, making it more challenging to raise money across all charities and sectors. Packed with Smiles, a local registered charity based in Southend on Sea and covering South East Essex has re-invented their fundraising plan to create new, fun and safe ways to engage with their audience for the rest of 2020, leading into 2021, starting with their Children’s Christmas Card Competition.
Keep an eye out on their social media pages for more information and details on their other campaigns being launched in the lead up to Christmas. There are lots of prizes to be won in their Big Community Raffle too launching on the 20th November to celebrate World Children’s Day.
But time is running out for the Children’s Christmas Card Design Competition. You have until 15th November to design and submit your Christmas Card Design!
Encouraging the act of ‘children supporting children’ this November, Packed with Smiles have just launched their Christmas Card Design Competition to raise awareness among younger age groups.
Offering budding young artists the chance to get their creative on and come up with some amazing designs, the winner will see their design as the official Christmas Card for the charity 2020.
Donations to enter the competition are just £5 per entry and open to all children aged between 3-11 years old, with 3 prizes to be won: 8and under, 9-11, and overall winner.

Supporting families facing financial hardship by providing new school uniform parcels and other school essentials, so children can fully participate in school, Packed with Smiles has a dream that all children are given the opportunity to attend school feeling equal, confident and ready to create their own future.
The impact on a child not having the correct or properly fitting school uniform has been directly linked to self-esteem, behaviour, learning and bullying. Supporting families with school uniform parcels has proven to not only contribute positively towards a child’s schooling experience but also increase engagement levels between schools and parents too.
Packed with Smiles aims to level the playing field and support self-confidence in young people because they value their wellbeing and the huge potential they hold.
