Writtle University College
The gardens of Writtle University College cover 15 acres with informal lawns with naturalised bulbs and wild flowers. There is a large tree collection, mixed shrubs, herbaceous borders. The landscaped gardens are designed and built by students as is the new dry/Mediterranean garden. Landscaped themed gardens also include a ‘Centenary’ garden and a Sub-tropical ‘Hot ‘n’ Spicy’ garden.
