Birds of Secret Water- Waders and Wildfowl in Walton Backwaters

This walk follows the sea wall along the Walton Backwaters as the tide is rising to give a good chance of seeing wading birds at relatively close range feeding on the saltmarsh and mud flats. Wintering ducks and geese should alos be present, including Brent Geese for which Hamford water is an internationally important habitat.
