We have been so busy lately my blogroll often gets neglected, but I must briefly tell you about the delightful day I had on Saturday.
I attended an Earth Day at Porters arranged by the South East Essex Womens Environmental Network. In the morning we could choose two out of four interesting workshops to attend. I went to a discussion on Transition Town Westcliff and also another about ‘Eco-Health’ – how the natural world helps us to keep mentally healthy. This was an interesting talk and of course fits in extremely well with the whole ethos of ‘Healthy Life.’
After a superb vegetarian lunch there followed yoga, drumming, dancing, meditation, a short play and much more. We even took home a gift of a tomato plant each.
It was a lovely day in a beautiful setting enjoyed by a group of like-minded people. Well done SE Essex WEN. (If you would like to find out more about the group, do contact Eileen Peck eileen@peckfamily.co.uk )
