Unravelling the Mysteries of Bird Migration – Writtle College
Join Ieuan Evans from the British Trust for Ornithology for this interesting talk on bird migration. Ieuan will explain the latest tracking work involving GPS tags and geolocators on different bird species. He will reveal BTO'S current projects and explain how the latest technology is being used to advance our understanding of bird migration. This event is being run by a RSPB volunteer group and has been organised for interested members of the local community. Please book in advance.

Circle to Circle – Writtle University College
Join us for an evening talk with active birdwatcher and qualified ringer Dr Simon Cox. Dr Cox will be entertaining us with a compilation of his travel highlights including photographs of birds and other wildlife from over 30 trips around the world. Join us here at the Northumberland Theatre, where Jeff Knott from the RSPB will talk to us about our changing attitudes towards birds of prey. He will talk about the highs and lows on the subject as well as discussing what the future may hold. This event is run by an RSPB volunteer group.
