Hen re-homing by the British Hen Welfare Trust – Great Totham
The British Hen Welfare Trust is re-homing 300 caged hens on Saturday, 8 September at their event in Great Totha, near Maldon. These hens have reached 18 months old and are at the end of their commercial laying life so are being sent to slaughter.
