Langley Village Gardens

Five beautiful gardens are included in the Langley Village Open Gardens, which is also part of the NGS.
April Cottage
A charming thatched cottage with a colourful, established garden with many unusual plants. Enjoy old fashioned roses, cleamtis, wildlife and ornamental ponds, a damp garden and a hosta collection.
The Chestnuts
The planting beds were designed and installed by Tristen Knight, RHS Young Designer 2012. They feature reclaimed sleeper jetty, herbacious borders and a yorkstone waterfall. Meadow with mature oak trees and a newly planted hornbeam avenue.
Church Cottage
A 17th centrut thatched cottage with lovely countryside views. A pretty cottage garden with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the views.
Duddenhoe Grange
Farm pond, woodland, meadow, mature trees and a delightful Rose and Soft Fruit Garden. Excellent views and plenty of seating.
Wickets
Wickets has wide, mixed borders, two landscaped meadows, a lily pond, parterre, shepherd’s hut and gravel garden with wonderful views over rolling Essex countryside
Flower Festival at St John the Evangelist Chuch
Light refreshments are available at the Village Hall on Langley Village Green
