Growing the Goods – the new Environmental Land Management Scheme

18th July 2022 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

“Growing the Goods”  – all about the new Environmental Land Management Scheme trials (ELMS) post-Brexit, presented by Ian Warder, Peach and Pippin, growers of organic fruit, flowers and some vegetables.

SE Essex Organic Gardeners’ next group meeting will be on Monday 18 July,
19:30 for 20:00, at Trust Links Rochford, College Gardens, Rocheway, Rochford SS4 1DQ.

Ian thinks it could be interesting for a gardening group (domestic gardeners rather than professional growers) to hear about how ELMS is being developed and learn about the experience of participating in an ELMS trial. Our members may not be professional growers, but they are still taxpayers with an interest in organic farming, so likely to be interested in the process of developing ELMS.

Peach and Pippin is a 4-acre smallholding, a teaching centre, a woodland, an orchard and a food provider located between Ipswich and Colchester – on the edges of Ardleigh and Manningtree.

Suggested minimum donation: £2.00
