This one day course for adults working with children / young people is designed to expand your Forest School cookbook, discovering learning opportunities for children.
This course will contain a mixture theory and learning, exploring the following: Varieties of tinder and kindling, Wood types and how they burn, Preparing wood for a fire, different cooking methods over the fire, learning how to prepare and cook wild game, lots of recipe ideas and food hygiene.
We will meet at the seating area opposite the entrance to Abbotts Hall Farm offices.
Event will be held outside so please bring suitable clothing.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch.
