If you’re an arachnophobic this probably isn’t for you. But if spiders fascinate you, join Essex Wildlife Trust at Abberton Reservoir for a morning of excitement as we are joined by the amazing Leah Fitzpatrick, who has recently graduated with her Masters specialising in spiders.
Come and learn about these incredible creatures and their evolution. Spiders play a vital role in our world and are less scary than you may think!
*Live spiders will be used in the presentation!
Just in time for Halloween!
Leah will be giving a presentation on British spiders and her MSc research followed by a tea break and Q&A session. Then we will head off on to a guided walk around the reserve to see what spiders we have here at Abberton nature reserve.
