Open Garden, Leigh-on-Sea

Yantlet Open Garden in Leigh-on-Sea is a little bit different from the norm!
Yantlet Flats in London Road, Leigh-on-Sea (opposite The Elms) is a sheltered housing complex for the retired and elderly. Several years ago, the residents decided they wanted to improve the garden. It is already looking lovely and recently the Yantlet Garden won the Best Communal Garden award from South Essex Homes.
The residents have plans for ongoing developments including a pergola, herb garden, patio and seating improvements. The garden is becoming the hub of the community with the ongoing improvements being made by a small team of committed residents.
This open garden event will help the residents raise funds. there will be free refreshments, various stalls, cakes for sale, and a tombola raffle. There will also be a few charities attending to raise awareness and support for their respective organisations.
