Kids Craft at Cressing Temple Barns

An event every day that begins at 10:30 am, repeating until 21st February 2020
Keep the kids entertained and dry, and help stimulate their imaginations with our craft sessions at Cressing Temple Barns. 10.30am-12pm, £8 session, includes a trail and all materials. Make a day of it, and spend time at the historical Knights Templar site and Tudor walled garden, weather permitting!
Monday 17 February
Cress Heads – Decorate your own pot character, plant your cress seeds and take it home to wait and watch their hair grow.
Tuesday 18 February
Ceramic Art – Get creative and personalise your own mug and coaster. Ready to take away and use the same day.
Wednesday 19 February
Puppet Making – Design, stitch and stick. Make a one of a kind, puppet friend to take away.
Thursday 20 February
Paint A Canvas – Channel your inner artist to create your own canvas painting. Take it away and display your masterpiece in your home.
Friday 21 February
Design A Bag – Come and personalise your own bag. Use it for school, shopping or at home for all your things. Use our stencils to make it your own, no one will have a bag like you!
After you have completed your craft, you have the chance to explore the site, take part in our nature trail and challenge yourself to our colouring competition – We have some exciting prizes to be won!
Be sure to come in old clothes, ready to get arty!
Please note these activities are aimed for those 2-10 years old, with the support of their adult. Adults are to stay throughout the session. Those under 2 years enter for free but will not get a craft.
