ALL EVENTS LISTED IN OUR APRIL AND MAY CALENDAR ARE NOW POSITIVE, ONLINE VIRTUAL EVENTS.
If you are holding date specific online events that can help individuals during these challenging times, you are welcome to add these events to the calendar (using the green button below) providing you are a charity or community group and/or the events are free to access.
Please note: The events in Essex featured are all third party events: Healthy Life Essex is not normally directly involved in organising or running any of these events. As events may be cancelled or details changed without us being informed, please always clarify details with the organiser/contact listed. Healthy Life Essex cannot accept responsibility for incorrect information shown on our events listings.
Directory advertisers can add their own ad hoc events free of charge as can most charities. Other events may incur a cost. The directors reserve the right not to accept entries or to make a small charge.
Welcome to Garden Ride, a FREE event on 1st November 2019, giving you the opportunity to visit any or all of the community gardens in South East Essex on a bike or on foot.
We will be specially opening up our community gardens including refreshments and fun activities, welcoming riders and walkers to get active and visit as many sites as they can!
We are offering guided rides or walks if you are less confident to find your own route or would like to socialise during your ride/walk.
When you sign up for a guided ride/walk, you will also receive a free hi-vis bag and refillable bottle to use at our Trust Links sites open on the day.
Please note that our sites will be open at different times, so check out all the information on our website – can you complete the 7 site challenge and visit all of our gardens?
Gardens/sites open on the day include Growing Together Westcliff, Rochford, Shoeburyness and Thundersley, St Lukes Church and Community Garden, Mendip Wildlife Gardens and St Lawrence Orchard.
