This event is in South Woodham Ferrers is a women only event as part of the woMEn TIME project, taking place every Saturday starting at 10:00am at the South Woodham Ferrers Yacht Club and ending at 10:45am.
This scheme aims for improved fitness, socialising and enjoying the views of Chelmsford’s parks. This walk is organised by a trained leader and there is always a back marker at the group’s rear, so that nobody is left behind.
The route follows shingle paths along the sea walls before dropping down some steps through farm land. The route takes in Salthaven Community Orchard which is over 100 years old. We’ll then take the residential roads and Marsh Farm track back to the yacht club where we can enjoy refreshments on the balcony overlooking the river.
