Patient Partners needed to help train future doctors – Chelmsford

3rd September 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Patient Partners Information Evening

Last year we opened a brand new School of Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, to help address the urgent need for more doctors and healthcare professionals in the UK and specifically Essex.

We are recruiting further volunteers* to our Patient Partners group. No medical experience is required.

Patient Partners are either simulated patients who volunteer to act as patients; or clinical patients who have an existing long-term medical condition.

In both instances, these roles are invaluable in helping our students increase their knowledge and understanding of different conditions from the patients’ perspective.

If you can spare some time, we’d love to hear from you. In particular, anyone who would like to know more is invited to attend our Patient Partners Information Evening at our School of Medicine on the Chelmsford campus..

To book your place and for more details, please email patientvolunteer@aru.ac.uk

*Volunteers must be 18 years old and over.
