Hilldrop, Stanford-le-Hope

Hilldrop in Stanford-le-Hope is a unique and fascinating 4-acre garden developed by John Little and Fiona Crummay of the Grass Roof Company.
The garden features a self build timber house with a turf roof, several other green roof buildings, 3 ponds and a brownfield habitat which provides one of the most undervalued places for wildlife.
You’ll get lots of ideas of how to create biodiverse habitats, especially for solitary bees..
Enjoy light refreshmants including tea, coffee, Pimms, cakes and vegetarian snacks while admiring the view across the Thames Estuary to Kent.
