Wildlife Walk: Walthamstow Wetlands

This event has been arranged by the Brentwood & Billericay Local Group.
Join the team for a visit to the Walthamstow Wetlands which is the largest urban wetlands nature reserve in Europe. Only recently opened to the public, this complex of reservoirs, scrub and reedbeds holds a wealth of wintering and breeding birds, including peregrine, kingfisher, grey heron and little egret. Early spring migrants very possible.
This is one of a series of wildlife walks. Please arrange car sharing if possible. If travelling direct, call the wildlife walks organiser first in case of last minute changes.
All walks open to non-members.
