Hen rehoming by the British Hen Welfare Trust – Great Totham

The British Hen Welfare Trust is rehoming 400 hens at their event in Great Totham, near Maldon.
These hens have reached 18 months old and are at the end of their commercial laying life so are being sent to slaughter.
However, the charity knows what wonderful pets they make which is why it steps in and re-homes as many as possible.
