Early Years Foundation Stage Forest Skills – Abbotts Hall Farm

These one day courses for adults working with children are run by Essex Wildlife Trust Outdoor Learning team and are located at Abbotts Hall Farm with beautiful woodland, meadows, gardens and two Forest School sites.
Young people will develop skills used in Forest School or Outdoor learning sessions. A mixture of theory and learning and will be based outside.
The course will provide you with inspiration, practical activities and games to enhance your Forest School delivery with Early Years Foundation Stage.
- We will explore woodland wildlife through the seasons, woodland games and activities, how to use basic tools for woodland crafts, making links to the EYFS curriculum.
- Please meet at the seating area opposite the entrance to Abbotts Hall Farm offices, bringing with you a packed lunch and drink.
