ALL EVENTS LISTED IN OUR APRIL AND MAY CALENDAR ARE NOW POSITIVE, ONLINE VIRTUAL EVENTS.
If you are holding date specific online events that can help individuals during these challenging times, you are welcome to add these events to the calendar (using the green button below) providing you are a charity or community group and/or the events are free to access.
Please note: The events in Essex featured are all third party events: Healthy Life Essex is not normally directly involved in organising or running any of these events. We look forward to welcoming you to our #RethinkMentalIllnessSupportTogetherSouthend group meeting 7-9pm at Balmoral Community Centre, Salisbury Ave, Southend-on-Sea, Westcliff-on-Sea, SS0 7AU. No need to book, all welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
The #SupportTogetherSouthend group is established to support #RethinkMentalIllness’s mission: to lead the way to a better quality of life for everyone affected by severe mental illness, to challenge attitudes and to change lives. The group’s overall purpose is to #empower, promote and advance the #mentalwellbeing of those in the local community of #SouthendonSea and its surrounding areas. The group is peer led and so coordinators have lived in experience of mental illness.
The group is open to anyone over the age of 18 who would like support with their mental wellbeing, including people with lived experience, carers, family & friends. People may have been sign posted to the group from other health and voluntary organisations, if this is the case a referral is not required to join. You can contact us via our Facebook page: Rethink Mental Illness Support Together Southend
