Looking after me is delivered by two volunteer tutors who are themselves carers; these carer tutors use their real life experiences to help other carers attending the courses. At the moment we have 3 carer tutors, we would like to have 12 carer volunteer tutors trained to deliver the courses by early 2010; ideally these carers would be or have looked after someone who has used our services be it Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Drug and Alcohol, Eating Disorder, Child and Adolescent or Dementia, etc however, this requirement is not set in stone.
