If you are holding date specific online events that can help individuals during these challenging times, you are welcome to add these events to the calendar (using the green button below) providing you are a charity or community group and/or the events are free to access.

These work parties are held on the first Sunday of each month. The venue changes according to need, so it is essential to contact the wardens in advance and confirm meeting points. (terriamory@hotmail.com or blackberry67@hotmail.co.uk) Tools and refreshments provided. Younger volunteers welcome if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Fungi Foray – Sandylay and Moat Woods Nature Reserve
This event, suitable for all ages, is organised by Chelmsford EWT Local Group. Meet in Mill Lane at the beginning of the short footpath to Sandylay & Moat Woods Nature Reserve, Great Leighs where will will enjoy a few hours of fungi hunting. Accompanied children are particularly welcome. After our fungi hunting foray, particpants are invited to transfer to Great Leighs Village Hall for an identification session and picnic lunch. (Please bring your own refreshments)

Fungus Foray at Sandylay and Moat Woods
Join the Chelmsford Local EWT Group for this Fungus foray at Sandylay and Moat Woods in Great Leighs. Meet in Mill Lane at the beginning of the short footpath to the reserve. (There’s limited parking along the road edge). Participants are then encouraged to transfer to Great Leighs Village Hall for an identification session and picnic lunch (bring your own) Children with adult supervision are particularly welcome.
