Wildfest – Thurrock Thameside Nature Park

Essex Wildlife Trust’s debut Children’s Festival at Thurrock Thameside Nature Park is packed with activities throughout the day to ‘rewild your child’ – educate and enthral children about wildlife and being outdoors in the countryside.
It is also EWT’s marine month and we’ll be looking at how to protect the planet at this fantastic Site of Special Scientific Interest on the shores of the Thames Estuary.
Activites include making a plastic rubbish sculpture, giant bubble blowing from the roof, music making, nature tots free play area, face painting, under the sea workshops and a beach combing experience.
There is also a range of wonderful workshops available throughout the day that can be booked in advance.

The workshops are available for a small donation of only £3.50, but places are limited and booking is essential.
There will also be a range of food and drink stalls in the picnic area, or bring your own picnic.
