Wendens Ambo is a meandering historic village with a busy B road through the village. Please use car parks, but please not that there is a lack of pavements in places so take great care if walking on the road.
The village is very close to Audley End House

3 Church Path – Ms Liz Hartley
This is a delightful cottage garden adjacent to a historic church and set behind a chocolate box thatched cottage. Terraced garden with a range of mixed shrubs, perennials, beautiful clematis & roses.
There is also a hidden vegetable garden & fruit trees.
Crossways – Mrs Andrea Reynolds
This is a 5-acre, gently sloping family garden with mixed planting for year round interest.
There are some wildlife areas and a wildflower area bordering part of the garden, together with a large pond which is haven for frogs!
Also an interesting selection of trees.
Refreshments available at Crossways.
Old Wenden Grange – Mr & Mrs Paul and Ruth Hitch
This garden was only completed in 2016.
The garden features meandering paths past a fountain that take you to a fire pit area surrounded by planting. The path is bordered by lawn and flower beds with a mixture of hedging, grasses, bamboos and perennials. There is also a large raised flower bed with a variety of grasses, phormium and box hedging.
