This beautiful 11-acre garden is situated in the conservation area of the Chelmer Valley and has been lovingly developed by Philippa and Bryan Burrough over the course of the last 15 years.
The garden is centred around 3 listed black Essex barns and a 17th century farmhouse.
In spring, drifts of snowdrops and daffodils can be admired, while in summer the bright beds are full of colour with many tender and exotic plants. Enjoy the large pond and shadt stream beds with a beautiful weeping willow. There are drought tolerant borders and also a newly planted wildflower meadow.
A Victorian-style greenhouse supports a productive vegetable garden.
Besutiful dog walks along the River Chelmer from the garden.
Be prepared to be tempted: there are many unusual planst for sale.
This garden also rmakes a donation to All Saints Ulting Church which is open in conjunction with the garden for talks on its history.
Group visits on other days by prior arrangement.
