This lovely garden is small in size, only a 1/4 acre, but huge in impact with dense planting including exotics such as cannas, bananas, palms, agapanthus, agaves and tree ferns.
The well-manicaured grassy paths wind round island beds and ponds. The borders include over 100 roses and more than 100 species of clematis in borders, pillars and shrubs. Dahlias and lillies provide additional summer colour.
A colourful patio contains many pots urns and hanging baskets, and also a large consrvatory where you can take refreshments if the weather is inclement.
The garden is planted to encourage year round interest and to encourage wildlife. Owners Chris and Linda Pegden say they have counted 65 species of birds to date.
The gardens are open on other dates for groups and bespoke visits.
