Join SEEOG – South East Essex Organic Gardeners for our monthly talk: Growing Sea Buckthorn on the Essex Coast presented by David Eagle, Managing Director British Sea Buckthorn Company.
David is the fourth generation of the family to manage Devereux Farm, near Frinton. Faced by the long-term threat of sea level rise, he was looking for a crop that was fit for the future of the farm. Dr John French, from the University of East Anglia, introduced David to a shrub called Sea Buckthorn.
