Make a Drawstring Backpack – Hanningfield

Visit Hanningfield Reservoir Visitor Centre and make your very own cotton drawstring backpack with your own design and print.
This event is suitable for children aged 7+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This fun drawstring backpack is 100% natural cotton and is great for school, sports or trips. Use Indian hand block printing techniques to create your own unique, nature-inspired design.
Two draw cords through the top hem are fastened to the base, both closing the top of the bag, and enabling the user to carry it on the back, or over the shoulder. The drawstrings can be adjusted to shorten or lengthen the backpack – perfect for little and tall people! All materials and tuition included.
