Horkesley Hall, Colchester

Horkesley Hall is a country house estate with 8 acres of mature, romantic gardens in a parkland setting.
The formal terrace overlooks sweeping lawns to woodland areas. Many unusual, ancient and enourmous streesincluding the largest gingko tree outside Kew Gardens.
Two lakes, one with a jungle walk. Enjoy the walled garden, snowdrop walk, wildflower garden and an enclosed swimming pool garden. Lots of established climbers including roses, clematis, wisteria and hydrangea.
Visitors also welcome by arrangement February to October.
