This is a course designed for people who would like to set up and run their own Forest School.
Course dates: Nov 21st, 22nd, 23rd, Jan 16th, 17th. Two tool skills days: Feb 27th, 28th plus a portfolio support day, March 28th.
This is our first modular course designed to experience a Forest School site through the seasons and to complete the portfolio work in stages.
On this eight day course you will learn the skills required and with ongoing support, complete a portfolio and run a pilot Forest School. The skills that you acquire on the course are required for you to become a qualified Forest School practitioner.
Course content will include;
• Attending training days consisting of both theory and practical tasks.
• Running a Forest School program in your chosen setting.
• A work-based assessment.
• Completing a portfolio for assessment.
