Early Years Foundation Stage Forest Skills – Abbotts Hall Farm

The Early Years Foundation Stage Forest Skills course is run by the Essex Wildlife Trust Outdoor Learning team and held at Abbotts Hall Farm Great Wigborough which is the Trust’s under 5’s Forest School site
The courses are designed for adults working with children and young people in an outdoor setting, learning skills that can be used in Forest School or other outdoor learning sessions.
The course will provide you with lots of inspiration, practical activities and games to enhance your Forest School delivery with Early Years Foundation Stage.
We will explore the following:
– Woodland games and activities
– Learn about woodland wildlife through the seasons
– Use basic tools for woodland crafts
– Making links to the EYFS curriculum
Advance booking is essential and places are limited. If you book and subsequently need to cancel your place please contact us ASAP, there is a possibility of referring to another course.
Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided, but please bring your own packed lunch.
