Barnards Farm was featured in ‘Secret Gardens of East Anglia’ by Barbara Segall.
The 17 hectares of garden and woodland have been in continuous development for 36 years. As well as stunning gardens, there is so much else to explore for all the family, including a Collection of Scupltures, Miniature Railway Rides, Sculpture Tours, Car Collection, 1920s Cycle Shop, Archery and Model T Ford Rides (check for availability and additional costs.)
The garden has signposted routes to ensure you capture all there is to offer, as well as plenty of seating options. Hoghlights include, but aren’t limited to, giant cacti, vegetable plots, beautiful borders around the house, water lillies and wildlife in the ponds and lakes, birdsong in the woodland.
In spring, enjoy the swathes of spring followers and the stunning blossom of the crab apples (Barnards Farm is home to the National Collection of Malus (crab apples.)
In summer, the belvedere is planted largely with roses and is a blaze of colour.
The venue is also by arrangement for groups and for private viewings by arrangement
