This event is at the Shrub End Social Club is organised by the Colchester Local EWT Group. Gerald Lucy, author of the award-winning book “Essex Rock”, will give an illustrated talk on the geology of Essex, a story that stretches back over 100 million years with evidence for ancient volcanoes, deserts, glaciers and deep seas. This event at Shrub End Social Centre is organised by Colchester Local EWT Group. Sheila Dearns, a Hedgehog Haven volunteer, will tell us about the life of hedgehogs, the dangers they face and a little bit about the important work of Hedgehog Haven.
