Everyone Health provides an Adult Weight Management rolling 12-week programme, underpinned by behaviour change techniques to help adults adopt healthy eating habits and become more physically active to reduce their BMI.
The service is provided by our team, by Weight Watchers, Slimming World and Trim ‘n Train, depending on the wants and needs of each individual.
All of our weight management programmes are free of charge for people who are overweight or obese and are available from the age of 16 with no upper age limit.
We provide extra ongoing support for up to 12 months, no matter which service is used, which includes support from a Health Trainer.
Our Everyone Health groups run once a week for 12 weeks and each session lasts for 90 minutes. Each session has 2 parts. The first part focuses on healthy eating and is run by our Nutritionist and the second part is physical activity run by our Physical Activity Specialist: they are fun and friendly and allow patients to weigh in each week and track their progress.
We offer you lots of options to understand food choices and to help you find easy to implement, small changes to help you lose weight for good. The classes are fun and sociable, giving you the chance meet people who, just like you, want to get fit and lose weight. We encourage a balanced approach including both what you eat and helping you to move more, as well as helping you to track your progress – we’ll be there every step of the way, and to cheer on every pound you lose.
