Animals that are rearedÂ by unnaturalÂ factory farming methods are very prone to disease and are continuosly given antibiotics. Almost half the antibiotics used in this countryÂ are given to farm animals.
There are already 4,200 human deaths annually from antibiotic resistant e.coli superbugs and this is on the increase. How much blame can we lay at the door of the factory farms?
